World’s greatest job opening was just listed and it’s time to tweak your resumé video.

Cancun.com just opened a position meant for thrill seekers who love to vacation in the lap of luxury. The official title is Cancun Experience Officer and the chosen one will get paid to delve into the lively Mexican city for six months and bounce through several luxury hotels and resorts. As for the lofty check, how does just shy of $60,000 sound?

Along with the good fun of swimming with the sharks, venturing through the jungle and even trekking through ancient ruins comes a good deal of work.

The Cancun Experience Officer, or CEO, will be an ambassador and subject matter expert for Cancun.com as well as create and edit content to promote Cancun through videos and photos.

“The ideal applicant will have a unique eye for capturing stories, a warmth in interacting with others, a self-motivated work ethic, and a dedication to producing high-quality work,” reads the Cancun.com application page.

All the information will be targeted at an American audience so no need to stress over knowing the Spanish language, although, we are sure that after six months you’ll pick up the language and a new-found appreciation for the culture.

The job will run from March to August and is open to anyone over the age of 18. Fluency in spoken and written English and the ability to create capturing footage and use social media are musts. When it comes down to applying, don’t even bother pulling out your paper resumé. There are several steps to land this job and none of them require looking over your 10-year work history.

Phase one consists of uploading a minute long video to Vimeo or YouTube about why you’re the ideal CEO by December 17 at 11:59 pm MST. This is the perfect moment to pull out your flips, tricks and editing skills. You get one shot to make Cancun need you. For phase two, you’ll need some help. Rally your friends, family, and followers to vote once every day up until voting closes on December 24. Although the votes aren’t an end all be all, they help gauge the applicant’s social media presence.

The top 100 will be chosen to email a second video where 50 of those candidates will make it to the second round of voting to battle to take the top five spots. From there, the top five will be flown out to Cancun for a four-day interview full of events, conversations, solo and team challenges and physical and skill-based assessments. The “winner” of the position will be chosen and announced on a live broadcast at the end of the interview process.
