This Thanksgiving season, instead of flying home and listening to grandma prattle on in a house full of annoying cousins and weird uncles, take that around the world trip you’ve always wanted. Airfare Spot is organizing a flight itinerary that departs NYC on November 14 and then takes you on an 18-day trip around many of earth’s most desired destinations.
Travelers board a Norwegian Air flight bound for Paris (it’s said that November is the best time to visit anyway), where they can immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of the City of Lights for close to three days.
On the 18th, you’re headed for Abu Dhabi for four days of sightseeing, including the city’s world-renowned shopping malls, and then an hour and a half drive to Dubai. On November 22, IndiGo Airlines will take you all the way to the sprawling city of Singapore. If you wish to stay longer, you can pay more for a flight that leaves later in the day.
Once you’ve soaked in the rich sights of Singapore, you’re off to Sydney, Australia, where you can spend four days looking at far more than just their famous opera house. Sydney is also renowned for their seafood restaurants and their golden beaches with ideal surfs for catching the waves.
After touring major cities, it’s time for a slight change of pace in Honolulu. By the 27th you’ll be immersing yourself in Oahu’s beauty which is known for blending modern style and fashion with the island’s natural and traditional beauty.
By November 30 you’re hopefully ready for your own familiar bed, and either United or Alaska Airways will get you there. If you’re still in the Hawaiian mood, however, you can upgrade and fly home in style on Hawaiian Airlines. When it’s all said and done, you’ve only spent a very reasonable $1,263 on 18 full days of of traveling the world and gaining a lifetime of treasured memories (and some pretty sweet Instagram-perfect pictures as well!).
