You ever had that desire to take a picture of some beautiful bit of scenery but also snap a selfie of yourself at the exact same time? It may seem like a very small niche of people to cater to, but Nokia is the first to manufacture a brand new style of cellphone camera that’s capable of taking both a front-facing and rear-facing picture at the same time with just a single tap.
The camera is equipped on the newly-released Nokia 8, and it’s being called a “bothie” for its ability to, well, do both! Though the ability to take two pictures simultaneously isn’t an entirely new concept (there are apps that allow you to do this), this is the first piece of actual hardware equipment that not only allows you to record video at the same time, but also live stream it to Facebook or YouTube — perfect for showing the family both your travels and your face at the same time.
For all of you hardware gurus out there, you’ll be happy to know that the phone’s back camera has two separate ZEISS lenses for shooting in black-and-white as well as in color. With both cameras having 13 megapixel quality, you can be sure that your video streaming will be conducted in very high definition.
